NEW RELEASE by the Richter Uzur Duo
Brad and Viktor recorded most of the tracks on this new album between 2014 and 2018 while touring. All the tracks are world premiere recordings of original arrangements and compositions which were
recorded primarily live in concerts.
This album features Moscow ‘Tchaikovsky” Conservatory alumni, Serbian-American cellist Viktor Uzur and French-Georgian pianist Guigla Katsarava, performing sonatas by two of their favorite Russian composers - Sergei Rachmaninov and Sergei Prokofiev.
From the hip-hopesque mixing of Rhapsody in Blue with White Stripes, Nirvana and Eurythmics and improvised homage to Pink Floyd's the Wall in La Folia, to their originals and Balkan Kolos, the Richter Uzur Duo lead its audience on an inimitable musical journey.
“Applying relentless energy and razor-sharp virtuosity...” (Strings Magazine)
